Shipping Policies
How long will it take to receive my order?
Each piece is handmade, and due to the handmade nature of our work, orders ship within 7 days of purchase. Please note that this timeframe does not include shipping transit time. You may select your preferred shipping method at checkout. Orders over $100 USD qualify for free ground shipping.
Packaging:
Each item ships with a gift box, ready for gift giving at no additional cost. Orders are carefully packed with bubble wrap padding to help protect your pieces during shipping.
Accurate address:
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. Orders will be shipped to the address provided at the time of purchase. If you need to request an address change, we may be able to accommodate it if you contact us within 48 hours of placing your order at info@thefoolishknowitall.com.
Rush processing:
Need it sooner? Choose Rush Shipping at checkout for an additional fee. Rush Shipping orders ship within 48 hours of purchase (transit time is separate). You’ll select your shipping method at checkout to see delivery estimates and costs.
Tracking:
All orders include tracking, and you’ll receive your tracking information by email once your order ships. Please note that shipping delays caused by the carrier are outside of our control.
Lost / Damaged shipments:
Once an order has been shipped, we are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Any shipping issues must be resolved through the carrier. We will assist by providing tracking details and supporting documentation as needed for a claim.
International orders:
International orders ship via USPS. Tracking is available when you select the International (Tracked) shipping option at checkout. Customs processing may cause delays outside of our control, and any duties, VAT, import taxes, or additional fees are the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping and Rush Processing fees are non refundable.
Cancellation / Return Policies
All items are handmade, and slight variations may occur. This can include small bubbles and subtle differences in color or pattern from what is shown on the website. These are expected characteristics of handmade work and do not affect wearability or function. Refunds will not be provided based on these expected variations.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you believe your item has a defect or flaw in workmanship, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the item (and packaging, if applicable) so we can review the issue and make it right.
Returns / Exchanges:
Due to the handmade nature of our pieces and limited inventory, we do not accept returns or exchanges and cannot offer refunds for change of mind. Please review item descriptions carefully prior to purchasing. Exception: If your item arrives with a defect or flaw in workmanship, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can make it right.
Care Instructions
Polymer clay pieces
Polymer clay is lightweight, slightly flexible, and water resistant, but it can still be fragile if over-bent or handled roughly. For longevity, handle your pieces with care, as you would any high-end jewelry or wearable art.
To clean: Wipe gently with a soft cloth. For makeup or dirt, use mild soap and water or a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh scrubbing.
Textile / Embellished pieces
Textile and mixed-media pieces are delicate and should be handled gently. Avoid pulling on threads and bending components.
Keep dry: Do not submerge in water. Avoid showering, swimming, and heavy humidity.
To clean: Use a soft, dry brush (a clean makeup brush works well) to remove dust. For a small spot, dab gently with a slightly damp cloth. Do not rub, soak, or use cleaning sprays. Allow to air dry fully before storing.
Store protected: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent dust, snagging, and damage. Store brooches flat and avoid stacking heavy items on top.
